SEAL Team 6 became world renown after it was successful in the killing of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Operation Neptune Spear. This public intringue has led to a surge in books, TV specials, and even feature length films about the anti-terrorism team. Now, thanks to master firearms instructor K. Brown, defense enthusiasts can learn some of the basic fire arm drills practiced by those on the team.
SEAL Team 6 is a U.S. Navy component of Joint Special Operations Command. Most information concerning the team is classified and details of its activities are not usually commented on by either the White House or the Department of Defense.
However, in a rare occurrence, Brown brings some of the techniques of this special forces team to light in a way that can be practiced by any concealed carry holder.
The drills are:
From 3 yards – 2 rounds to body
From 7 yards – 2 rounds to body / reload / 2 rounds to body
From 7 yards – 2 rounds to body / 1 round to the head
From 7 yards – 6 rounds strong hand / reload / 6 rounds weak hand
From 25 yards – 2 to the body / reload / 2 to the body
